Can you split dining plan credits?

It seems like I read somewhere in the past that if you had the regular dining plan for TS meals that you could split those credits to use at CS locations? Is that true and if so how do you do that?

You can't split them. Once all your CS are used up, reports are that you can use a TS for a CS but it is a 1 for 1 trade.
