My husband and I will typically split an appetizer and an entree when we dine out. Is this typically allowed at Disney restaurants? I understand buffets are not allowed.
Thanks!

DW and I do this often,I am diabetic so I eat 6 small meals a day.We do tip our server on what check would have been if we had both had full meals.:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

This may be done at any table service (non-buffet or all-you-can-eat) location provided you are not on the Disney Dining Plan. As a matter of fact, if you ask nicely they may even do the split for you in the kitchen.

We usually share apps, entrees and such at places like Jiko or Narcoosee's. Do dinner family style, pass food around to everyone. Our servers are cool, always bring extra plates or have items split in the kitchen, no hard time at all. We usually tease them that we save room for wine and dessert that way. FWIW.

I agree. We've had no trouble splitting meals, getting extra plates or even getting the meal split in the kitchen.

I asked this question on the dining plan forum about my 10 year old twins sharing and a few told me that as long as everyone that was sharing was on the dining plan that the twins would not have a problem sharing.
