I have read a couple posts that imply that you can... Do you just ship a box to your hotel, or are there guidelines to follow ? Do I need to let my hotel know that it is coming (Saratoga Springs).

Thanks!!!
Laura

I've never done this at WDW but I've done this with other hotels around the country. They typically don't need advance notice. Address the package to yourself and put the word "Guest" after your name, either in parenthses or after a comma.

It will also be helpful to write big on ANOTHER part of the box (NOT in the address area) your name again (and "guest"), your reservation number, and your date of arrival. They will know to hold it for you. Like I said, any decent hotel in America does the same thing.

We just did this. I shipped a box from home to the BW. I used UPS ground that way I could track it. I put on it the name the ressie was under, the address for the BW and our ressie # and check in date. It was brought up to our room when I checked in and asked for it. When we left, we were at Saratoga and I told them I needed to ship some stuff home. They provided me with a box, packing tape and shipped it UPS ground. I also had the option of Fedex, but UPS is cheaper. It was easy and I will definately be doing it again! I did not notify the hotel in advance and I did put all the info on all sides of the box.

We shipped at box to our resort last summer. We just addressed it to the hotel and then put attention: our name, our arrival date and our reservation number. It was waiting for us when we arrived. We'll do it again this summer, it was so convenient!

Thanks so much for all of your help!! Maybe I have lived in a cave all my life but I have never heard of shipping to a hotel. Of course this is my first trip with a little one (15month old). So before this we never really had to worry about taking sooooo much stuff!!

Earlier this afternoon, I ordered formula (enfamil.com) for our DS - I'm having it shipped to Pop Century (should arrive between Tues and Thurs). We check into Pop on Friday afternoon.

The only (potential) problem is that I totally spaced and didn't put "guest" next to our name, nor did I put a reservation number or arrival date.

Is this going to pose a problem? Should I call Pop to give them a heads up? (Supposedly, we'll get a tracking number via FedEx - should I just "watch" the package to make sure it is received?) Augh!

Thanks in advance for your help!

I'm wondering if everything went up ok. Did you receive your package ?
I'm planing to buy something through amazon com, since its cheaper in USA than in Brazil (where I live). But I'm not really sure if it'll be delivered to me .
Is it safe to proceed this way? I'll be staying at the pop century too.
