Good morning Disers!
I was wondering if anyone knows if you can ship clothes, car seats home from your resort. We are shipping those things ahead of time but want to send them home the same way. Thank you

Yes - I've done this a few times. We went to the food court at ASSp and asked for an empty box, filled it with laundry and sent it home! LOL! The front desk took care if it for us.

AKL concierge took the things we wanted to ship, packed them, and had UPS pick them up for us.

Another thing we do is try to do our resort souvenier shopping all at once on our last day, and have that purchase shipped home, too.

Just be aware that it's gonna cost ya. Worth every penny to me, though. I hate checking bags and luggage!

Great thanks for the tips. Do you know roughly how much we are talking?
Thank you

We routinely ship our suitcases down and back. Much easier than struggling at airports with the bags and worrying about being over 50lbs. Never had a problem until this trip. Fort Wilderness claimed they could not do it "we don't have a scale to weigh", yet they do have one for Magic Express. At Old Key West (our one night snow refuge), the desk cm could not understand that we were shipping, not sending via air. Finally got someone who did comprehend. Holding our breath though. They had us fill out FedEx Express forms rather than ground. I did write in big letters to send by ground. Your costs returning should not vary greatly from what youpay to ship down. We prefer Fedex. Have had better service from them. If you are sending large items such as a car seat, I don't believe you need to box them. We send our large suitcases 'naked'. I do suggest getting extra shipping forms though, based on our recent experience, to fill out before you ship home. Shipping is great way to travel despite our recent hassles!!

We shipped a box home last October from CR no problem. DH went to the business center and got the box, we packed it, he took it back and they taped and mailed it. They put the charge on our room bill and it wasn't bad at all.

It's a lot cheaper than buying a new WDW duffle bag!!! I had to do that last June!!! I could have shipped stuff home, but really liked the rolling duffle. The CM at BC Marketplace really did try to talk me into shipping though. He kept saying that he was going to lose his job since he was trying to talk me out of buying the duffle!!! I'll ship the next time!

We shipped 6 large Mickey shopping bags home of dirty/clean clothes and shoes from the GF before leaving for our cruise. We didn't have to box them up or address them, we just took the bags to the front desk (a couple of them even had ripped handles because of everything in the bags) and they boxed them up for us and even packed breakable things carefully - i.e. Christmas ornaments. Anyway, I want to say it was $17 total or something like that - 2 big boxes full of heavy clothing. It was great, and I'll definitely do this again.

You can definitely ship items and it is much better than buying another piece of luggage to take your stuff home

I shipped a box down via UPS ground 18x18x18 30lbs it was $22 (from NH). I also printed a return label. At the end of the trip, I re-packed & we dropped it off at the UPS store @ celebration on the way to the airport.

Very easy! I just checked and am watching the progress of our box back up the east coast :)
