Can you "share" Genie+ LL rides

I don't do roller coasters or spinning rides. So in the past, when we would have FP or MP, I would often give my FP/MP to my daughter so that she could go on again.

Is that possible with the Genie+ system? For example, we will have 4 tickets with Genie+ and my DH and I do not want to ride Indy. Can my DD16 and her friend ride Indy with 2 LL passes early in the day and then later in the day they can get 2 more LL passes (the ones that my DH and I don't want to use).

Yes, it works pretty much the same as maxpass. As long as they’ve got your LL barcode or your ticket barcode (which I think actually might be the same thing) you’ll be good!

Thanks so much! That's what I was hoping. It will help justify the cost of Genie+ since there are times when I won't use it on certain attractions.

Definitely! I’m sure they’ll be grateful for those extra rides! I always loved it pre-covid when I went with my mom and she let me use her Indy and Guardians fastpasses

I would bet that the official stance is that you can't/shouldn't.

However, I have never been at a genie+ (or fastpass) checkpoint where the CM ever look at your tickets/phone (unless you are having an issue).
As long as you have something that allows the machine to approve you, you should be good to go.

Since it's so easy to have all the tickets in your group on your phone, it is pretty easy to take advantage of this, for sure.

I will say that as DAS user, you scan in through the LL and then the cast member confirms the DAS holder and has their photo up on their device. But I'm also guessing this is the photo taken when you set up DAS and not tied to the photo you take when you first use your ticket. I did not see them checking anything for those with Genie + going through the lightning lane.

Make sure they have the app on their phones and they should be fine. We did this last week. My DW does not go on the fast rides either, so I unchecked her name when doing a LL pick for those.
