My son (17), daughter (13), and I are planning to eat here for dinner during our June trip. We all like (the looks) of the skillet but I think it may be too much for each of us to order one. Son is a growing boy and could probably manage one skillet very well on his own. However, it just looks like too much food for myself or my daughter to eat. Do they allow 2 people to share a skillet? Thanks! :goodvibes

Yes you may share a skillet BUT each person who shares will be charged for the skillet price listed on the menu, i.e. our family has always ordered the skillet and they bring enough food for 4 people on one skillet then we're charged for 4. Its also all you can eat and they will keep refilling it.

The skillet pricing is per person.

It is an all-you-can-eat option, and you are supposed to share them but will be charged the menu price for each person in your party who is eating it. Sort of like going to a buffet, each person pays.

I have no firsthand knowledge, so take my comments with a grain of salt ;) , but the skillet is considered an "All You Care to Enjoy" option so I don't see why they would allow anyone to share.

Anyone else? :confused3

Edited: Wow, three of us posted all at once. :)

If you share, you pay. It would be like two people sharing one plate at a buffet, except that they bring the food to you. Even if two shared one buffet plate, you'd both pay.

This reminds me of a famous incident that DH and I still laugh about. A party of four was seated near us, and they wanted to pay for either one or two skillets...I forget which...and the other two or three people were just going to "sit there and watch." Uh, yeah, right. The server and manager said a big NO.

It is a per person charge and all you can eat if you order the skillet. They also have al la carte options on the menu as well.

The other posters are correct. If you share you will each be charged the all you care to eat skillet price per person. DH and I order from the ala carte menu.

I wonder what they do when say a party comes in and half of them order the skillet and the other half order off the menu, a la carte. You just know that they will probably eat something off of the skillet as well. I would just bet on it.

1) You pay, eat or not
. . . at every "All You Can Eat" locations
. . . for any "All You Can Eat" platter or menu item
2) This includes a skillet at WCC
. . . they don't know how much you ate or another ate
. . . if you refill the plate, they don't know how much you ate
. . . therefore, two can eat to their fill for the price of one
. . . Disney won't let you do this

You will find that as long as each person at the table orders a regular entree they do not really care if you sample from the skillet. However, don't expect them to allow one or more people at a table to order a skillet while there is at least one person who does not order anything. You may suddenly find, on the bill, that the person who did not order anything is also charged for the skillet.

Yes Cheshire, that makes perfect sense. And for the record, we are in no way trying to eat for free. I am happy to get clarification because I wouldn't have wanted to order one skillet for the both of us to share (as one meal) but get charged for two skillets anyway! May as well just go ahead and order two, loosen our belts, and get to work :rotfl:
Thanks again to all:goodvibes
