My husband and I are ready to book our little birthday weekend for just the two of us and want to eat at Artist Point. We usually stay at BLT and are now debating how we would get to Artist Point. So the big question is: Is there a boat from the CR to WL?

Yes there is! Just head to the dock and they will tell you which boat. Sometimes it is one boat and it goes WL, FW and CR. Last month they had one running from CR to FW and another to WL. Either way you can get there by boat!

The boat actually goes to Ft. Wilderness, Wilderness Lodge and CR (or sometimes reverses the order). We've taken it a couple of times to dine at Artist's Point.

Good to know. We will be staying at VWL and heading over to California Grill for my birthday dinner and I assumed we'd have to boat over to MK and then head on over to CR. We've never stayed at VWL before. So excited!

The boat is located at the dock behind CR and to the side of BLT.

If you're going for a late-night dinner reservation, be sure to ask the boat crew what time the last boat will be. This route doesn't run as late as some of the others. (I want to say it was 11:00 a few weeks ago, but it may be earlier.)

It's still easy enough to get back using Magic Kingdom transportation (or DTD if necessary), but it might save you a frustrating trip out to the boat dock if you know up front that boats will or will not still be running after your meal.

Or, walk to MK and take the boat from MK directly to WL. I like going over the water bridge.
