Can you sell part of your DVC membership?

I was wondering if you can sell just a part of your membership, if you have 300 points and wanted to sell 150 of them from the same membership and have 150 remaining can you do that.

My understanding is that you can only sell complete contracts. So the answer would depend on whether you own one 300 point contract or multiple contracts that add up to 300 points.

You cannot split up a single contract so if all 300 points are one contract you cannot sell just part of it. However, as mentioned, if the 300 points is an initial contract plus later add-on contracts, you can sell them separately.

Example you first purchased 200 points and later added 100 points. You can sell them separately.

You also cannot split a single contract in your will. If you want to leave your points to 2 children, you need to buy them as 2 contracts.
