Probably not an ideal viewing angle, but I imagine you should be able to see them. You would probably be better off watching from the Esplanade though.

Over near House of Blues there is an area where we have watched (can't help ourselves!) with limited viewing...but...
What we DO see is usually better than our local 4th of July sparklers we're usually just meandering through DTD anyway enjoying the musicians down there.

It's very hard to see them from within DTD itself. You can hear them bursting but it's hard to find the right viewing angle. You can see them much better from the esplanade, but you can't make out the music very well due to the crowd noise and the general Disney music the resort plays over the speakers in the esplanade. Even then, you're not at the right angle to get the full effect of the show and it is much, much better to see it with the music playing.

So to answer your question: Yes, it can be done but it's almost pointless to try to see them from anywhere but inside the park or your hotel.

Thanks! I have SCAP,so am blocked out the rest of the summer and wondered if it would be worth hanging out in DTD to see the FW or not.
