Can you ride everything in Disneyland in ONE day?

We are talking only about Disneyland- and yes- I think we are going to attempt to do it on Sunday, just for fun.

We've made a list of the rides, and we have a list of shows that we'd like to attempt during breaks. We are planning on getting there at rope drop, and staying until park closing, I think we can do it! :thumbsup2

We will be renting a locker to keep a couple of sweatshirts, bottled waters, and food in, and plan on dressing up like reindeers (we've already started calling it the Reindeer Run).

I know the Candlelight Processional is supposed to be that night, but I can't find a time listed for it.

We WILL be live tweeting at https://twitter.com/OneDayDisney

Even if we fail- I think it will be a really interesting thing to see how it plays out.

Any tips or tricks? Wish us luck!

Honestly, I don't think it's that probable... maybe others will say otherwise. I fear that in trying to attempt all attractions - you may miss out on some of the magic. Sometimes our best trips to Disneyland have been the more spontaneous, fly by the seat of our pants trips... the times we go where the wind takes us have been so much fun! At the very least I would take out SOME attractions that you may deem not necessary, but that you can still go for if you have time, but some of the must dos should be done right away. (Obviously, lol.) I hope others will say it's entirely possible, but in my family of 4 experience at the Disneyland Resort, I would say not generally.

I LOVE the live tweeting idea!! We on the DISboards will live vicariously through you. :goodvibes Have a great time!! :)

If you enjoy doing that sort of thing, you should consider taking part in the Gumball Rally events that MiceChat.com puts on yearly.

Thank you! Either way, it should be interesting. We do have a day where we plan on tackling all of the live entertainment coming up as well- so things should be interesting.:cool1:

I think your biggest obstacle will be the crowds due to CP. If you use FPs and single rider lines, you might be able to pull it off if you take no breaks, and it's only rides - no shows. If nothing else, it could be fun to try!

I seriously doubt it if there is any sort of crowd. If you can hire someone to do the FP running for you though it would probably be possible!

I agree...it would be very difficult even on a low crowd day, but this weekend is probably going to be slammed.

We're planning everything down to the detail right now- but I think that it's worth it to give it a good shot. The only ride we don't want to do is Rodger Rabbit- but we are going to sit on the fountain outside of it for the queue + the ride time in order to count it. (I've always had nightmares about that movie since I was little- and we re-rode it last week and both of us girls were kind of terrified. Why is it only the scary parts of the movie?)

Even if we fail spectacularly I think it will be interesting to see how much we can get done.

You can definitely do it, but you MUST get to the park 30 minutes before it opens to the public. Here is how I would do it.

730am be at the entrance to Disneyland
8am-845am: Most people will say to hit Peter Pan first, but I would recommend that you skip it and do it later. Sure, the line will be longer but you can take that 20-30 minutes and do more... Anyways hit up Dumbo first, then Casey Jr, Pinocchio, Snow White, Alice in Wonderland, and the Matterhorn (only do one side for now)
845am-11am: Get a Fp for Indiana Jones, Ride Haunted Mansion Holiday, Splash Mountain, Winnie the Pooh,
Grab FP for Big Thunder Mountain, use FP for Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Caribbean, Grab FP for Space Mountain, use FP for Big Thunder.
11am: Have Lunch... Would recommend Hungry Bear due to location.
1145am-4pm: Ride the Canoes, Ride Mark Twain, ride Columbia, Grab FP for Star Tours, use FP for Space Mountain, ride Buzz Lightyear, ride the Main Street vehicles. Grab FP for Autopia, use FP for Star Tours, visit Innoventions, see Big Hero 6 sneak peek, use FP for Autopia.
4pm-6pm: Grab a FP for Roger Rabbit, visit the Toontown attractions, then use FP for Roger Rabbit.
From 6pm-12am I would do the remaining attractions. Its a Small Word Holiday, Storybook, Mad Tea Party, Sleeping Beauty Castle, Enchanted Tiki Room, the Jingle Cruise, Nemo Submarines, 2nd side of the Matterhorn using the Single Rider line, Peter Pan, and the Train around Disneyland with a stop at Main Street and see Great Moments with Mr Lincoln.

I think that is all of the attractions

And be prepared to waste 45 minutes in line for 20 second on gadget's go coaster!

Sounds fun and tiring all at the same time; honestly it is hard for me to do an all day Disney trip now :faint:. But I have heard that riding all the attractions in DL in one day is doable. If you do an internet search for "all Disneyland attractions in one day" there are many articles or bloggers that tell how they did it. Looks like you have to to make sure you get to DL early, use FastPasses and eat in line. :) MouseEXPs might work too!

Let us know how it goes! Good Luck!

We've been putting off riding this again due to the lines it always has... I guess we are going to have to suck it up. :rotfl2:

My family is braving the crowds today, too! If I see reindeer, I'll cheer you on! Good luck!

We just got back, and I honestly don't see how you could do all that in one day. Granted, we were there during the week, so the park closed early. On the days it was raining, there were less people, and shorter wait times. But when it finally cleared up....Wow! The volume of people made it hard to even move, and the FP return times jumped up quickly. Not to even mention ride closures, and how that throws things off when they re-open.

We did, but we did it thursday and we didn't catch any shows. I am not sure you could do it Friday or Saturday though. The park was bear capacity both days. But interested to know if you did!!
