Can you return merchandise from the Disney store?

HI!
My mom ordered me a Dooney from disney.com for our upcoming trip. I see that the pattern is unique and I was wondering if I don't get one with all the pictures I want on it if I can exchange it at one of the stores while we are down there. I obviously wouldn't use it. Does anyone know if they will do this for me? Thanks!

I don't think you can return something bought on line at the parks. The return policy on line says you can return it to any disney store but I'm thinking they don't mean parks.

I agree with the PP. If you purchase something online, you can return it at a Disney Store, not a store in a park or the World of Disney store in DTD, but rather a Disney Store that would be in a local mall somewhere, as long as you have your shipping receipt. Also, if you purchase something from the parks and want to return it to a Disney Store in a mall somewhere, they won't return it for you, you will have to return or exchange it in the parks.

The Dooney bags are a park/online exclusive right? If thats the case, then I would think you would be okay to exchange/return for a credit. As long as the store you're retiring to carries the item then you should be okay.
