Hi, can you request a specific cabin on the ship when you place your deposit on the cruise? How soon will you find out if you can actually got the cabin you requested? Thanks! :flower:

Yes, you can. Your travel agent, or the DCL rep you speak with should be able to tell you if the cabin you want is available. If it is, they'll book it for you and you'll know right away.

We were able to request the secret porthole adjoining rooms for our cruise this August. As long as the room you want is available, you can request it.

I think the only time you cannot request at specific cabin is when you are booking a guarantee or booking with a group rate.

Yes, we picked the cabin we wanted and got it right there when we put down our deposit. Have fun...

You should be able to get a specific stateroom, even when booking on a group rate. Also, if your cabin is not available, keeping calling or ask your travel agent to do so. It may open up, particularly around final payment time.
