Can you rent Ecv for 1 day at resort?

We are taking my parents on a Dream cruise and will be arriving at POP the morning before. We can rent for the ship, and afterwards is arranged but I am wondering if Disney does 1 day at resort. the off property co's seem to want a 2 day min, and we can't leave the ecv just sitting there even if we agreed to pay the extra day.

Ay one have exp with this?

If you can't rent from an outside place your only option is rent from the Disney themselves.

They have wheelchairs at the resorts to use, but they don't rent EVCs there.

there is one ECV rental place onsite at Boardwalk Resort. You would have to rent it there, and take transportation to DTD or a park and then to your resort. Otherwise you need to rent from an offsite place. There are a handful that are "authorized" by Disney and will leave the ECV with bell services for you. All others are required to meet you to pick it up.

WDW doesn't rent ECVs at the resorts, so you would have to rent from one of the off-site places listed in that thread.
If you have already rented for after our cruise, you may be able to work something out with that company for the one day, so I would start with them.
