I've gone to Disney about 11 times. MOST of the times I went were with my parents when I was younger and we didn't really eat that often in the parks. The past few times I've gone, we've tried different restaurants and I have my favorites from those. However, being on the DDP the next time we go, I'd like to try some new places. Can you recommend some places for us to try? I love CM and WCC so we're definitely going to go there this time. But can you recommend some other places too? Keep in mind we'll have a 20 month old with us.

Thanks so much! These boards are the best!

I have a 7 and 1 year old and have been going yearly since dd was 25 months, we have taken both with us to all the places.

Our favorites are Akerhaus in Norway (we do this every time for dinner)
The Yachtsman at the Yacht Club
We have taken our daughter with us to the Resturaunt in France which was awesome.

Crystal Palace for a nice buffet
1900 Park Faire

The only resturaunt I have ever had a problem with was Chef Mickeys which we waited for over 40 minutes and were never seated and we had an ADR and when we went to the cast member to complain she was very rude.

We went to Chefs de France for the first time in December after many trips. I thought the place would be fancy and we would be out of place. It was nice but not too stuffy and many families just like us were there.

I love their onion soup and creme brulee.

Crystal Palace for breakfast. Breakfast seems little more subdued compared to lunch and supper. A great way to start a morning.

My family loves WCC too. Great family atmosphere. I don't care much about the food too heavy for me.

1900 Park Fare is a must do for our family. I can't remember if your baby is girl or boy but I don't think that matters. The food is great and whether boy or girl the stepsisters are hilarioius. prince Charming is wonderful with the girls.

Have Fun!

O'Hana's, Cyrstal Palace, Le Cellier, Chef Mickey's and Park Fare. Garden Grill is out of this world too.

We have only been to Disney once but had some great dinners.

One of our favorites is Rainforest Cafe in AK. The atmosphere is amazing and the food was perfect for the picky eaters in our family! Our only disappointment was that it was not a participating restaurant in the Dining plan.

We also enjoyed 1900 Park Fare. They offer a kids buffet as well as adult buffet for dinner.

Coral Reef in Epcot was awesome as well! It was easy to wait on our dinners because we could watch the different fish as well as some silly divers. You may want to check recents posts on this one as I've read some have had poor service recently.

50's Prime Time Cafe was also a fun experience but kids are getting older and want to experience other resaurants.

Good luck with your dining plans!!

The Spirit of Aloha Show was fun as well! Be sure to check out the various restuarant reviews too!:disrocks: :goofy:

I second The Mickster, 'Ohana is my wife and I's favorite restaurant. Its a different experience than other restaurants and is delicious

Well, even when she was a baby I've never hesitated to take DD to any restaurant, especially in kid-friendly Disney. When DD was under-3 there we always just fed her from our plate...

Keep in mind I've only been to WDW three times in recent years so still have LOTS more restaurants to try, but these were MY faves:

Jiko
Brown Derby
Coral Reef
bluezoo

Chefs de France!! Our new favorite. The food is excellent, and definitely kid friendly as well.

My favorites are California Grill (sooo good),WCC, Boma for dinner buffet, and for breakfast buffet the Crystal Palace. I'm looking for some new places to try so i'll be checking back. :)

I think my all-time favorite for dinner is California Grill. Everything we had their was just wonderful. Our service was lacking a bit, but the food quality more than made up for it.

For breakfast, I LOVE Kona. The macademia nut pancakes are heavenly!!

We only found one of 10 days on the DDp that we didn't care for (Sci-Fi for dinner)...the rest were pretty good. Tops were CM, CP (b), CR, 9-Dragons (Fabulous! Our kids are 3 & 5), 1900 PF (d, amazing interaction between characters) & Akerhaus (l). CRT was a once in a lifetime (b & l)...twice was more than enough! O'Hana for breakfast was very fun too! TH (b) smelled so yummy when we walked in...the food was good too.
