Can you really only have one car for the large suites at DI&S?

I'm looking at booking the 2 room family suite that can hold 10 people at Desert Inn & Suites. I read the info about the rooms and it says 1 car per room. We are going to have 8-9 people in our group and plan on driving two cars. Is there not an overflow lot for the other car or what have others done? Since the suite is like 2 rooms it doesn't make sense to me that they expect everyone to fit in 1 car.

I can see their point. We're doin it backwards in Dec. 2 rooms,1 car.

I asked them this question before my first stay there. They told me if there is room, I could park a second car for $8 a day, if there is not room, I could park a second car offsite for $15 a day. We opted to sweet talk a friend of mine who lives nearby into letting us park our second car at her house, so I can't say how this actually works...

I believe you can only park one car, even if you have a large room. Their lot is pretty small. There's a row of carport spaces under the building, and a row of outdoor spaces behind them. If those are full, there's an underground garage. I've never had to park in there, but I've heard it's pretty tight.

There have been reports here of an overflow lot that you can use, for a nightly fee. Apparently it's not within quick walking distance, so you wouldn't have immediate access to both of your cars. It's best to call the hotel directly and ask about their policy before booking.

Thanks everyone! I decided to email them and was told that for the largest suite, the Parlor C2 you can have 2 cars but you have to pay $8 per car per day for parking.

i am here now and in a large suite and they asked when we pulled up if we were gonna have another car join as aswell so u can have to cars, but there lot does get pretty packed
