Can you put money on a room key?

At WDW resorts, there is NO CREDIT CARD REQUIRED.

If you read carefully - without assumptions - you'll see I said "you CAN tie a credit card to your room account." I don't think I said "it's required."

But thanks for the info that Disney will let me use the phone without a credit card. I stand corrected on that point.

I have only stayed at value resorts, but have never left a credit card or cash deposit on my room. The last time I used a prepaid Visa the other 3 times just cash. In regards to the original OP. I would give them prepaid Visa.
