Can you pay off trip balance with an e-gift card?

I was gifted an e-gift card. Can I use to pay off my trip balance? Thanks!

Yes but I always do it at check in (in person). When I call reservations they say they aren’t authorized to take gift card numbers over the phone. This is for room only reservation.

If you have a package you have to pay 30 days out. My Disney planner always applied my gift cards for me.

I just called yesterday and paid off my room only reservation with a gift card yesterday. We want to go straight to our room and not deal with check in.

That's awesome! What number did you call? Was it the hotel directly?

407-939-6244, it was just the number listed on my email confirmation. Didn’t go to the resort, just the general WDW line and I followed the prompts. Total time on phone with waiting was 25 min.

Interesting... I just looked at my email confirmation. It does not list that number. It has the the general Disney number instead. Mystery solved.. I will keep the number you wrote above on hand for the future. It's so inconvenient to do a live check in just because I'm paying with gift card. Thank you!
