Can you pay in advance for reserved things like tours or the WOC or Fantasmic Dinner package, with gift cards?

I keep getting these really small (like $10) gift cards and I would love to not need to cary a box of them to the park.

also I don't have a Disney Store convenient so I don't believe that I can have them combined anywhere

I don't think so. They use a credit-card to secure your reservation and they will charge you if you don't cancel in time or don't show-up.

However, you can use gift cards to pay for the meal once you are finished.

I honestly don't know the answer to your question. Here's my thinking though. I would think the answer might be yes for a tour. My understanding about tours is that you pay at the time of booking and they are officially not cancelable, so it seems possible gift cards might be ok. WOC or Fantasmic dinner packages are actually not paid in advance. You give a credit card number when making the reservation but don't actually pay for the meal until you have had your meal. They want the credit card since you will be charged a fee for no-show. Does Disney store do that combining gift cards thing? I thought not.

AdSimba, I wish you a wonderful Disney time. :) When I was at DL earlier this month, I asked a CM outside City Hall (on a Saturday) about combining gift cards. She told me to call the 800# on the back of the gift card on Monday and that they would be able to do that for me. I went ahead and called the # and was told to bring the gift cards to a Disney Store. Before doing that, I placed a call to the Disney Store in the Citadel Outlets and was apologetically told they are unable to combine gift cards. The woman explained that (to them) it's like I was wanting to buy a gift card with a gift card. If you do find somewhere to combine, let me know as I'd still appreciate that convenience, though am so blessed and thankful for the cards. :) Anyway, enjoy your trip!
