I do not own credit cards. I paid all of mine off and have never gotten another one. I want to pay by check. I will be staying at the all star movies.Anyone ever do this????
I know that you can pay by check in advance by mailing it in. Can you pay by check upon check-in (with a room-only reservation, of course)? I can't say for certain, but I seem to recall reading that you can't. You can pay by travelers checks at check-in, if that helps. Or even better, you can purchase a Disney gift card and load it with the amount that will be due upon check-in.
Hopefully, the idea of mailing a check in ahead of time appeals to you.
I have paid my room charges with a check, so I am assuming you can pay your res. balance with a check at check-in. We leave a credit card to charge to our room during our vacation and then the night before we check out, I go get a print out of the weeks charges, check them over and then write a check for the total. I have never a problem doing this. I would call the resort directly and ask just to be sure. Disney changes policies often.
Yes, paying with a check is no problem.
. . . must have your name and address preprinted on check
. . . must present a valid state (within USA) driver's license
. . . check is cleared electronically
