Can you pay for DVC AP's with DVA?

Hi,
I bought some Disney Gift cards with discounted Target gift cards.
I think that if I open a DVA(Disney Vacation account)I can get a $20 gift card when spend $1000 out of it.

Can I buy DVC AP with the account.
Also anyone know of anything I can not use the DVA account for while at Disney?

Yes, you can purchase park admission using a DVA either on-line or by phone.

The DVA is for pre-paid expenses, so it can't be used for any in person purchases on property.

Disney Gift Cards are accepted at nearly every location on property that accepts credit cards.

That's weird because I called the number for DVA a few weeks ago and was told that I cannot purchase a DVC AP with the discount. Please let me know if this works. I have several gift cards that I want to use to purchase an AP.

I purchased several DVC PAP (special promo) last year, both online and over the phone. I purchased 3 FL seasonal plus a few 2 day tickets online in Feb before the price increase. Over the phone, you tell them you're using a GC, do not bother mentioning DVA as it will only confuse the person on the other end.

In case it isn't clear, you also call DVC, not DVA to buy the tickets.

You can enter all yourgift cards bought with your target discount into your DVA account very easily online. It prevents you from having to carry around all those gift cards.
