Can you park your rental care at CR for Chef Mickey's?

We are thinking of going there early one morning and then taking the monorail to MK - can we leave our car there all day? We are staying at OKW and would just drive home that night.

yes and no.... You can drive there for breakfast, but they will give you a 3 hour parking pass and you will have to move the car after breakfast. We did go to MK after breakfast on the monorail, but we were only staying for a few hours (it was our last day), so we didn't park for longer than the 3 hours.

What I would do is park at TTC and then get the monorail to the Contemporary for breakfast, then you won't need to move the car later

we did Chef Mickey on our last trip at the end of June 2003. We stayed at OKW we had an early morning breakfast at the CR Chef Mickey we drove our rental car. I told the security guard we were going for breakfast he waived us through, i did not show him the pass. I did leave my OKW parking permit on my dash. we left the car at the CR till the park closed. we just strolled to the resort monarail got off at CR got our car at went back to OKW.

The CR has a sign as you enter that states parking for MK is prohibited. Thus the 3 hour pass so you can eat there or look around but not stay long. There have been reports of people being towed right here on the DIS.

Just because some people have gotten away with it and do this, doesn't make it right. It's inconsiderate and rude to those who pay to stay at the CR to park there and then head to MK all day.

Can you imagine if everyone going to MK chose to do this?

I've stayed at the CR twice now with a rental car and I've seen first hand how difficult it is to find a parking space. Very frustrating to learn that it's because of guests not staying there and using the hotels parking for an MK day.
