Can you park at Poly without a dining reservation again?

I'm staying a few nights at Universal next week, but I really want to head over to Poly one night to watch HEA and get some Dole Whip. I know last year as part of the reopening, they were pretty strict on only letting you park if you had a dining reservation. Some people reported a mobile order was sufficient but I've heard anecdotal reports of this not being allowed anymore. Does anybody have any recent reports on what the situation is at Poly? I don't really want to make a dining reservation. Worst case scenario, we can park at Disney Springs and take this bus, but driving would be a big time saver. Thanks!

You're correct- the mobile order strategy has been hit or miss. More misses than hits. They are pretty strict about parking there.. I would say that the Disney Springs strategy is your best bet!

You would have to pay the MK parking fee though, right- at the TTC (unless AP)?
Yep.

If time is a bigger concern than money, you could Uber to Poly from Universal. It would drop you off right at the resort and be roughly the same cost as TTC parking anyhow (~$25).

Would still need a dining reservation or be a Poly guest to get dropped off by an Uber. We were staying at Riviera and tried to get a uber to drop us off at the Polynesian and it was a no- had to be a guest there or have a dining reservation. They could uber to TTC and walk over...

Personally, I would park at Disney Springs and take a bus over for free. Won't take that much extra time.

Still only ADR and hotel guests can park or be dropped off by rideshare. This is the "official" policy for all WDW resort hotels (and has been for years), but they have been particularly strict these days at the monorail and Epcot Deluxes that have easy access to the parks. I don't think this will go away. The mobile order access loophole tended to work more at hotels that only have bus access to the parks but was/is allowed inconsistently. For busier times this Summer, they were even limiting the ability to place a mobile order at the Poly, CR, and GF to hotel guests only.

Good point, forgot about that. The walk from TTC is pretty quick though, not much longer than walking from the main entrance. Taking the bus from Disney Springs, they should allow about an hour for that, especially if they're going before dinner time when Disney Springs buses are less frequent. Just depends on how much time they have to work with I suppose.
