Can you order Kitchen Sink at B&C with 2 Q&C?

I've heard you can do this at RFC with the volcano & the sampler appetizer (are those portions the equivalent of two appetizers and deserts?) Can you do the same by combining Q&C's? I for one would prefer the No Way Jose (never tried it), but I think DD11 would get a kick out the kitchen sink (never tried it).

When we go to B&C, we are getting the kids a kids meal, which is like 5.50 each I believe, then me and my DH and my sis are going to use a Q&C each. I am going to ask if we can get 1 kitchen sink for our entire party versus each of us getting a dessert, because between 3 of us getting the most expensive ice cream they have, it equals the price of the Kitchen sink. We'll still be saving $ because DH and I always get the ribeye which is 10.99 alone. It will be a day we save our appetites just for this meal.

Also, never say NO, because it depends on your individual server, last time we went, our server allowed my husband to get that frozen sunshine drink, which I think is like 3.99 as his beverage. Plus we went to CBR and he used a Q&C to get a whole pizza, plus a side of fries and his pop and dessert on 1 Q&C. It depends on who takes your order, I say it never hurts to ask!

On the back of my voucher (that expires May 2005) it says no kitchen sink, but what would I loose if I asked?

We couldn't believe how dumb this was, but they won't even let you use 4 vouchers for it. They said they do not get reimbursed for the kitchen sink.

I agree that allowing a Kitchen Sink for ONE VOUCHER was a bit over the top, and they had to stop that for business reasons; however, I think they SHOULD allow this massive dessert for two or three vouchers.

I agree with what others have said here: it never hurts to ask. If the server wants to do so, he or she can key the order in as several sundaes so that they don't lose money. Also, the server knows that if the customer's happy, the tip will be larger!

The Kitchen Sink is 100% worth the price -- even if you pay real cash for it instead of vouchers. It's not something I'd do more than once per trip, but it was one of my daughters' favorite parts of our whole vacation. When we go to our local ice cream parlor, my oldest still says, "This ice cream is good, but my favorite ice cream parlor is Beaches & Cream."

They wouldn't let us get a kitchen sink, either. (Server said it was because it's printed right on the voucher, can not be used for kitchen sink) Of course, we had a lousy server. She wouldn't let DH substitute onion rings for the fries, and when he wanted the chili instead, she said he couldn't have that, either, even tho chili is listed in the 'side items' section of the menu. Well, by the time we asked about using 4 vouchers for the kitchen sink and we were refused, We figured up the 4 desserts we DID order cost way more than 1 kitchen sink would have. DH and I both ordered a no way jose (which was VERY GOOD), but neither one of us could finish it. DH refused to feel guilty about 'wasting' dessert, tho.

On our last vist, we were so stuffed from the meal that none of us (even the children) wanted dessert! I asked if we could just send our desserts to another table but the server said "no". He did box up some chocolate cake for us, however. One for each voucher. I don't think that they have a lot of flexibility at B&C.

We also were so full after we ate there one year that we couldn't get a big dessert, so we ended up with Mickey Mouse sundaes (they were really cute) that were what they give in a child's meal and couldn't even eat all that.

Forget about the Kitchen Sink and head over to the Dolphin. They have a little ice cream parlor called the Dolphin Fountain and you can get a sundae there that is equal to the one at Beaches'N'Cream for a lot less money:

Dolphin Splash - Pick 7 flavors and we'll splash em with all the sauces and toppings $11.50

We ordered this and four of us could not finish it!

Hey thanks for that Dolphin tip. We will have to do that one too. I figure in 10 nights we should eat ice cream at least 3-4 times. Once at B&C, once at Dolphin and once at Ghirardelli's. (I have been known to eat ice cream as a meal, in fact, I did so last night :hyper: )

Sorry -- I see a problem with your math.

10 Days = 10 Times!!! :teeth:

What's really great about the sundae at the Dolphin is you get to pick what flavors of ice cream you want and there were plenty to choose from.
