Can you modify an online check in?

We will be staying at the Poly starting Oct 1st. I have been putting off doing online check in as there appears to be construction at the resort and wanted to get more information before requesting a building. But from what I read, in order to be able to do FP+ and MB you have to have checked in online. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for being selected so if I check in would I be able to modify it at a later date or would I just have to wait until I get there? Thanks

You can cancel and redo or modify your online check in.
