Can you modify a reservation once youve checked in?

We would like to cut down one night but we are already here. Will ms let us do that?

Once a reservation starts, it cannot be modified. All applicable points are deemed used on the arrival date. Exceptions could be made in unusual circumstances, e.g., something happens to render the portion of resort you are in uninhabitable.

I have no problem with them goimg into holding- i would expect it of course i was praying we could checkout a day early!

I'd go to the front desk. If you are asking for an early departure due to the impending weather, they may be pretty accommodating.

I had a medical emergency (yep me) and had to leave BLT one night early. MS credited my points for that night back.

I checked out of OKW 2 days early due to an injury and the points for those nights were put into holding. I then transferred the points to RCI and made a reservation at a Hilton timeshare.

The points were returned (once at the Polynesian and once at the Grand). In both cases the points return didn't happen immediately. The front desk has to send a note to DVC, but within two weeks max there were back in our account for reuse immediately.
