Can you modify a Disney reservation?

Sorry if this is an obvious question, but I couldn't get the "search this forum" feature to work on any of the 3 browsers I have (Firefox, IE, Safari)...

My fiance and I decided we're going to honeymoon at WDW November 15-22, 2008, and we decided on the CSR after reading and analyzing hundreds of posts on here, Trip Advisor, and other similar sites. We think CSR is a great choice because it's affordable and beautiful. I really wanted the CR but it costs us about $1500 more. Ouch! And like I keep telling myself, I'm there for the parks not the hotel room.

Sooo, to get to my question, I want to go ahead and book a vacation package on the WDW website. If a coupon code comes out later, can I apply it to my reservation to get a lower rate? We're getting the DDP and 8-day park hopper tickets.

Any help or advice would be great! This will be both of our first visits to WDW and we want to get the most value out of our vacation/honeymoon.

You can apply a code to an existing reservation. Last year, I booked our vacation and had been paying on it for several months when a promotion came out. The promotion included a discount on the room (for three days of our 10 day stay) and free ticket upgrade. I immediately called Disney reservations and told them what I had found online. They added the discount to my reservation and I saved over $350.00. Hey.....I'll take whatever I can get.

It's easy to modify. I modified mine twice now. I switched our dates to a week earlier a few weeks after making the initial reservation. Then when codes came out I upgraded our view to accomodate a code. No problems either time. Good luck.
