Can you make reservations for CityWalk restaurants?

I think last time I did it through Open Table but they aren't showing up there anymore! Is there any way of doing it or do you just walk up? Thinking about Bubba Gump and Margaritaville in particular?

It's been a few years, but I recall calling Margaritaville within a month of arrival. There may be online ways now...

Yeah ... you can book reservations for Emeril's, Hard Rock, Margaritaville, Vivo, Antojito's, Bob Marley's and Pat O'Brien's through that page on the Universal website, but those links still bounce you to the restaurants' pages on Open Table or Next Table depending on what reservation engine they use. Curious about the original poster's comment ... as I can still find Emeril's and Margaritaville on Open Table when I search the app. I dunno. Either way you can use the links from USF's page and get where you need to go.

I don't think Bubba Gump locations accept reservations though, and I know they don't at Cowfish.

For the record, I also found most of the hotel based restaurants on Open Table or Next Table as well ... so, the Kitchen, the Palm, Thchoup Chop, etc ...

You can go to the Universal Website and look up your dining choice and it will show you if there is a choice to reserve on line. The restaurants that do online reservations will only do them one month in advance.

If you are staying onsite the concierge at hotel will do this for you. Easily done from your room phone at the Resort.

It's not like Disney. Easy to usually get into restaurants there.

I did reserve Mytho's in IOA, The Palm at HardRock and and Vivo on CityWalk the rest I just winged it. No problem.

I'm not sure Bubba's ever took reservations, but I was pretty annoyed to see Margaritaville's website saying no reservations. I used to book them on OpenTable too. I am hoping they go back to reservations for the holidays. I was never so happy to have a reservation on Christmas, as lots were walking up with hours wait. And to get there was through a sea and I mean a thick sea of people. You can always call the restaurant directly, to ask too.

Oh margaritaville...we've been round and round with them. Bubbas does not take reservations.

I called the Universal dining reservation number and Margaritaville themselves. They only take reservations Monday-Thursday before 5:45pm I love going there, and we go almost every trip. However, if I can't make a reservation and the wait is long, I am heading somewhere else. They supposedly do priority seating, but the TM on the phone, previous Margaritaville host, said they don't do priority on the weekends or holidays. Not sure if this is really true or not, so always give it a try if you are staying onsite.
