We have dinner reservations for Yachtsman at 8:00 one night that I think it is Evening Extra Magic Hour at MGM. Can we go over to MGM before they close to the "public", get our wrist band, leave and do dinner, and then go back to MGM after it has officially closed, but while EMH is going on?
Can you leave Evening EMH and then come back?

They hand out wristbands at the entrance to the park also, so as long as you have your ticket and ID, they'll give you a wristband there and you'll be able to get in.

You can get the wristband 2 hours before park closing. So I would suggest getting it if you can before you leave. Comming back is easy.
