Good Luck!

Christy, you cannot answer!

WOW, that is cool! Thanks. Another tidbit of WDW trivia to put into my arsenal.

:surfweb: I think i know where these cell tower "trees" are at---

answer in white type-> Animal Kingdom

It's a cell phone tower but I don't know where the 7 are located.

It is a cell Tower, but it is a Sprint/Nextel tower that was installed when WDW sold it's radio system to Nextel so that Nextel could obtain the disney 800/900 megahertz frequencies. As part of the deal, Disney gets 7 dedicated Nextel sites and hidden towers. Disney's main radio site was on the top of the Contemporary Resort. To ensure they have coverage in all parts of the WDW resort, Nextel had to design the system with multiple towers.

No wonder I always get a leaf in my ear when I talk on the cell phone at WDW. :rotfl2:

Belle, there is one near there!! :goodvibes :thumbsup2

FWIW - There is not one in the Tree of Life.

We have a lot of those trees here in Northern California. I like the "disguise"- better than an ugly tower.

There are a few along the Garden State Parkway- mostly in north Jersey.

They are pretty cool looking I think. :thumbsup2

You can see one as you leave the Grand Floridian on the Monorail heading to the Magic Kingdom.

There's one "behind" AK. As you are driving up to the parking lot its very noticeable since it towers (no pun intended) over all the other trees.

BTW Mike, you might be interested in this story about the Mickey head electrical transmission tower that's visible just off I-4 and World Drive.

Pretty funny Mike. We actually drove right by one of them during our Sunrise Sarari tour last December. They are disguised pretty well to blend in with the park(s).

I love finding the "hidden" magic around WDW. The hidden access points on Toy Story, the hidden RFID readers in the parks (for merchandise and soon people), etc.
