Can you "hot link photos" from yahoo?

I have a gal who is trying to hot link photos from her yahoo albumns. Is this possible and if so what is the trick?

I agree with Dan...I used to upload my pictures to Yahoo, but I could never get them to post, anywhere. Photobucket is good, and free.

I got her set up with a photobucket acct... but she is still a bit lost. Plus she wants to upload entire folders at once which you can't w/o a premium service.


Thanks. Glad i wasn't nuts. I looked at all the help @ Yahoo and didn't see anything about hot linking.

The free services justify themselves through the advertising they can sell in the margins of the page around the photos, so most of them have have begun blocking deep linking, as per their terms and conditions. Some, such as Angelfire, not only block the deep linking, but substitute an advertisement for their service instead. Cute.

Of course, the DIS offers a photo hosting service to its sponsors. That's something we all should consider.
