Can you help w/question: ME to another WDW resort?

Are we required to take ME to our resort, or can we be dropped at the Poly and then later on catch a disney transportation bus back to "our" resort?

You have to go to your resort.

If your resort and the Poly are on the same bus, and you have nothing stored under the bus, you could probably be just get off at Poly, otherwise, no, you have to ride the bus to your resort.

Thank you both! I doubt the busses are the same. We're at POR. We need to go to Shades of Green for our tickets and I was thinking we'd walk from the Poly to SofG before checking in but, in the end, it's all magic. I'm so excited to go I can't concentrate on anything!
