Hello,

We are traveling to WDW in January with my parents, wife's parents and our three children. I would like to surprise my wife, mother and mother-in-law with a few hours at a spa. It will be the first time for my mother and mother-in-law, so I'm looking for suggestions. I was thinking a facial, massage and possible manicure.

Help from anyone on which spas are great, I was thinking the Grand Floridian. Any ideas on what any of you would suggest.

I figure the guys will take the kids for a few hours and send the ladies off for some fun, but want to make it fun for them also.

I also thought about giving them a certificate or something and tell them they had to pick what they wanted. But knowing all three, they won't know what to pick, and would probably cause more anxiety then needed on a vacation.

Help.... Help.... Help.....

I would definitely go with the Grand Floridian Spa - I believe it has the most to offer.

I had a back facial and a massage there a couple of years ago that was absolutely wonderful! You are very sweet to think of all three ladies, and I think that regardless of what you choose, they will love you forever!

You can call them directly and ask them to fax you a listing of all their services. Then you can choose, based on the costs.

Have a wonderful time!

Just a little tip that not too many people know about...

If you are staying at a Disney Resort, they will provide courtesy transportation for you to and from the Spa. It will either be in a courtesy van, or they will give you a voucher for a free taxi ride, gratuities included. Check with the Front Desk for more information on this. :)

Thanks.....

I didn't know that, but it could help out alot. The three of them getting to and from the Grand Floridian from the Pop Century may be an adventure in itself. I'm waiting on the Floridian spa to email me the complete list of options and packages ( I think they forgot). But then I'll make my selections and make the reservations.

I think since we are going in January, figure I'll wrap up some clues for Christmas and give it to all of them.

Thanks again,

Dennis

P.S. You keep it up Tyler and I'll have to look you up the week I'm in WDW and buy you a drink to say thanks! (your description of the Pop Century caused me to chose the new resort) I booked it with the Triple AAA discount for $69 a night.
