Can you HEAR Wishes from the Grand Floridian

I know that you can see Whishes from some parts of the Grand Floridian but can you also hear it? I mean: Do they add music at some parts of the hotel? I know that they do this at the Contemporary but does Disney also provide the music at the GF?

They do pipe the music in I think to at least Narcoosees and the beach area. Could be wrong however

We're getting it piped into the Marina for our wedding....it isn't normally played there, so not sure about other places.

I won't tell you how much we're having to part with for them to turn some speakers on!

It always amazes me what parts of WDW do get piped in music.
We left one night after the parade and got the boat back to the TTC.
As the boat docked at TTC Wishes was just starting and the music was being piped into the jetty - so we just stood there and watched it across the lake

I wouldn't count on it. As I said we have to pay to hear it, so I think they try and keep the Floridian music piping to a minimum. Hence why Narcoosees - as guests are paying to eat there.

They def piped music onto Narcoosee's deck and restuarant. You can hear music if you stand at the dock-side (and it's a lovely view too). I remember watching the fireworks from outside Gasparillas but I can't for the life of me remember if the music was there (I dont think it was!!)

So it is not sure if you can hear it if you are not in a GF restaurant.

The GF Beach is on the otherside - it faces the Poly. It's a great place to watch the Electrical Water Pagent. You might be able to see some of the fireworks, but the best place is at the boat docks at Narcoosees and outside Gasperillas.

You can see what mickeyforpresident means, it'll be very unlikely to see any fireworks from the GF beach. Except some that are maybe over the top of the hotel.

Your best bet if you are set on seeing Wishes from a beach, is to head over to the Poly - it's a lovely walk.

Last year we had a ADR for the GF Café and we were thinking about staying at the GF and seeing Wishes there. But then we decided to take the Monorail and see it at the MK. And now I am glad we did.

Mhh that is another good idea to walk from the GF to the Poly. How long is that walk? And for this walk you have to walk through the Wedding Pavillion?

I'd say the walk is about 10-15 minutes.
