Can you hear this? (new ringtone for teen's)

My kids heard it and it hurt ds's ears (age 10) and dd (12) said it gave her a headache. Forty-two year old Mommy didn't hear a thing until I turned the volume way up. OUCH! Now I know why they didn't like it!

I did wait until they left the room before turning it up.

I heard it and it hurt. Both of my kids (6 & 8) were in the room with the tv on and talking. They both stopped what they were doing and asked about the awful noise. My DD said that it sounded like her ears were broken. It reminded me of the ringing in my ears after a great but loud concert that we had stage front (meaning speaker front)spots.

WHOA!!! That hurt my ears!!! It was kind of like nails on a chalkboard and the hair raised on my neck.

I'd just stick with vibrate than use that.

I am 41 and I heard it but I have really good hearing. DD, 6yo heard it, too. I will play it for DH when he gets home, but I bet he can't hear it. I always hear more than he does...I have "mom" ears!

Wow! I couldn't hear it. I'm old. 44... no wait... 45? Heck I dunno, can't remember. Anyway... 16 yo DS could, said it hurt his hears. I couldn't hear a thing. The dog heard also heard it.

<cough> "older" adults generally can't hear it, but kids/teens can. I didn't hear it but my 7 yo could.

Well, I guess I am just too old. 43 and can't hear it, but my 14 year old DS said it hurt his ears! The dog had no reaction.

Yikes, that is like super loud and I had the speakers super low. I would hate that as a ring tone.

I heard it & my ears are almost 49 years old. My desktop/CPU have a lot of various ambient sounds though(fan, electronic/monitor "whine") - I was surprised I could hear it.

Well, my 46 year old ears can hear it. DD (14) ran from the room. DH (55) couldn't hear it and DS (11) said it was annoying.

I guess my parents were wrong about me listening to my music too loudly!

I heard it, and all I can say is one thing... PAIN!!! I am 14. I can also hear dog whistles, oh my gosh, those things HURT!
