Can you have two different dinning plans if you have two different DVC reservations?

I am using my aunts DVC points this year and my family are going for three nights at the Beach Club and three nights at Bay Lake Towers.... Two separate reservation numbers.... I would like to buy three days of counter service only and three days of the plan with one sit down a day. I'm know how the plans work (we've used them for years) but we don't want to sit down for 6 meals and I'd like to save $300! Anyone know if this would work? Thank you.

yes. Each DVC reservation gets its own DDP selection, as long as you are switching resorts. If you are staying in the same resort, they sometimes link your reservations, which would change the ability to make two separate dining plans.
