Can you go from Epcot to downtown disney?

No, no nonstops via Disney transportation.

1. Take a bus from Future World (main turnstiles) to a resort (suggest Port Orleans or Caribbean Beach) , or walk from World Showcase International Gateway to a resort (Beach Club, Boardwalk). Then catch a bus from that resort.

2. Take a taxi from Future World directly to Downtown Disney.

If you are gonna do the two bus route, I would suggest going to POFQ or POP, since you will not be stopping at a number of internal resort bus stops.

Another option would be to go to SSR from Epcot, get off at the Congress Park bus stop and walk to DTD. This is only a 10 minute walk

However, POFQ usually shares bus service with POR, which has several internal stops. As a result, you likely will hit the POR stops on the way out to DTD. POFQ usually is the first stop coming IN from a park, but occassionally a bus will go through POR before going to POFQ, so it's possible that you could hit the internal stops in both buses.

For the most part, when a resort has more than one bus stop the DTD bus will do the stops in a different order than the park buses. (Only difference: At CBR, the DTD bus does the same route as the MK bus)
Therefore when coming to PO from EPCOT,the FQ stop will be first. The DTD bus does FQ last before going to DTD. So if you change buses at FQ you will not have to go to any additional stops at PO.

This is correct. The DTD bus acts as the internal shuttle from Riverside to FQ while the all other parks (except MK) shuttle guests from FQ to Riverside

What about taking the monorail over to the TTC then take a resort monorail to the first resort and take the DTD bus?
