I don't know because that restaurant is so new but I have seen signs in EPCOT (World Showcase) that says only those with ADR's can be accommodated. I know that I have had difficulty being seated at some of the resort restaurants without an ADR. I actually waited over an hour once, gave up, and went to the CS restaurant. I learned my lesson that time. I always try to make a few ADR's so as not to be disappointed with dining difficulties.
I would try later to see if anything opens up at BOG. I think it will be a difficult ADR to make because it is so new.
Just got home last night from a GLORIOUS week at WDW. I made ADR's before we left and was thrilled with every single one. We tried four different places this trip. We have been thinking about not making ressies for the next trip ( to avoid the stress of setting it all up so far out , 180 + 10 ). I thought a good way to research this approach was to go to Guest Services (daily) and check with them to see if they could get us into any place for TS that evening. There were MANY places available each day. There were quite a few differnt times too. I thanked them and told them that I could not confirm a ressie until I discussed it with DH (because we already had our ADR). On several nights , as we were waiting to be seated , I witnessed quite a few "walk-ups". They asked if there was any chance for their family to dine there , and most times they were told that if they were willing to wait (usually 30-45 minutes) it would be fine. Not true at CRT or Ohanas ,but, I was surprised at how easily people were getting in without ressies. At LTT there was even a party of eight that only had to wait twenty minutes. Everyone was thrilled. Not to worry if you are short on making ressies -- I learned . You just need to be flexible. If you really have your heart set on a place though , I would for sure keep trying to set up the ADR for that one. Good luck and have a magical trip.
It's extremely unlikely that BOG will be taking walkups. Right now, I'd venture to say it's the most sought after ADR. As such, they will be booked solid and not expecting no-shows. Keep checking for cancellations and you might luck into one, but don't count on being able to walkup.
For Be Our Guest, I will say that for the next few months it appears you would be very lucky to get a walkup at all, wait or no wait. (It's my impression that the OP wants Be Our Guest specifically and isn't concerned about walking into other restaurants)
The above is correct - if you are not specifically interested in the full service dinner at BOG, lunch is counter service with no reservations. Expect there to be crowds eating there for awhile though.

Very true, but since TDC Nala had already stated that lunch was a counter service as opposed to the full service dinner, I didn't feel it was necessary to point that out.

Actually, according to the CM at BoG during the soft opening a couple of weeks ago, lunch will have all three dining rooms open, while dinner will use only two.
I was unaware that it was walk-up for lunch. That is great news! We just want to eat there and don't really care if we get the full experience. We are returning in the summer and will do our best to get reservations for then.
The lunch sandwiches sound really good, so that could be a good choice. Lunch this time, dinner next time. Or try checking the day before/of in case any cancellations can be grabbed at the last minute.
