Can you get AAA discount rate with a MYW "Package" w/ dining?

Is it possible to use the AAA room discount on a MYW Package w/ dining?

Not thru CRO you have to book the package thru AAA

Yes it is possible. However, when I booked ours last week CRO had do AAA discounts available but when I called the local AAA office they did. Saved us a bunch of $$$, too! We are getting hopper passes plus dining.

I emailed AAA for a package quote, MYW + Dining, it was virtually the same package price I got on the Disney site, plus the airfare was more through AAA. I haven't talked to anyone to find out why there was almost no discount, but I do know it is possible.

It should have been less. It's worth it to find out why. Tell your agent the package was the same price as from the Disney website. There have been problems before.

This happened to us when we first got our price from AAA. We called the AAA office back and questioned them as to why the cost from them was exactly the same as booking it with Disney online. The next day they called back and apologized, and requoted the package with the correct discount.

Discount is just on the room and you do get the AAA price on the tickets (which is a minor discount...but hey every $$ helps)... Dining is the same price.

I booked mine online from the AAA website and save almost $400. from the Disney price. This is at Pop for the week of 4th of July.

My husband just found out this week that he has to go on travel from mid-June to mid-July, so now I have to reschedule. Hope I'll be able to get close to the same discount. (now planning for the end of July)

What website are you going to, to book the magicyourway AAA package, I emailed our CAA agent and was told she never heard of the magicyourway package, but central res. told me that I had to contact my own CAA to book the magicyourway package with the dining. AAA quotes Value resorts at $99.00 Standard and $111 preferred location

Moderates are $126.65 standard and $140.25 water view.

This is for July 2 for 8 nights. In order to get this rate AND MYW tickets with dining, you MUST book this through AAA agents. You can get the room-only AAA discoutn online or by calling regular Disney CRO.

The Pop Century Resort is $84 and $94 for those same dates with the AAA discount. Not sure why it differs from the other Values, but that is what the AAA site listed.

Also, you can figure out the 'cost' of an AAA package by adding your discounted room price (plus taxes) to your MYW ticket option costs, and then adding $35 per day per adult and $10 a day per child (ages 3-9) for the dining option. No tax charged on the dining option. Then you can compare. The cost of an AAA package should be same as the WDW site package MINUS the room discount. Get out your calculator!

Make sure you itemize everything...I, too, got a wrong quote...I did not want trip insurance...but they had added that on...I wanted Magic Plus not Magic Hoppers and I wanted the tickets for 6 days not 7...once they double checked against what the package was listing and what I had requested I ended up saving about $300.

I did this you just have to go through the AAA....It saved me $500 compared to going through WDW
