Can you FP+ the same ride twice?

When we're booking our 3 FP+, if we want to do the Toy Story Midway twice, say one in the morning and one in the evening, then use our third FP for something else, can we? Or do we have to choose 3 different attractions?

Your initial three selections must be for three different attractions all in the same theme park.

I was not able to select the same ride twice when setting up my initial FP+ selections. After the first three had been used, I was able to repeat a ride, but not before that.

Not only do they have to be different, but they can't all be tier 1 rides.

Yes, but they still have to be for three different attractions.
