Can you ever book Fantasmic online?

WDW website says it is not available for online booking. Is this how it always is? I would love to check online instead of going through all the prompts and questions from the CM which only turns in to a simple "not available" each time!

According to easywdw:

"Hollywood Studios’ hours are also shorter and Fantasmic is scheduled earlier in the night, usually at 6:30pm. It appears that Fantasmic will be undergoing a refurbishment from at least January 5th to 26th, when no shows are currently scheduled."

Perhaps that's why you can't book a package? You didn't say what day you were trying to book.

I am trying to book for August however you can't book any dates online. When you bring up the booking screen it says its not available online. I wondered if that is always the case or if its a temporary status.

It was bookable online around 3 or 4 months ago but then that capability was disabled and hasn't been available since. I booked my FDP for August online around 3 months ago but I haven't been able to check online for a better time in quite a while. I haven't heard anything about why it's disabled, just that it is.

I booked by calling the reservations- it was quick and painless. I was able to score a 1:35 pm Mama Melrose reservation with a 6:30 Fantasmic Show!

My trip is in November this year!
