Can you do this...

with out spending an hour doing it? I love some of the specialty drinks you can get at the sitdown resturants, only this year we are trying new resturants we have never been before. Is it possible to go to a place like 50's primetime cafe, or the coral reef and just get a drink to walk around with? I have been reading over the menus avaliable here to try and find a counter service or cart with specialty drinks but no luck yet.

You know, I was wondering the same thing. We often bring our refillable mug with us to the parks and transfer drinks to that. I wondered if we could get a smoothie at the end of the meal and just have them put it in the mug instead.

Well, the 50's prime time cafe does have a bar you can sit at as soon as you walk in....... Do you mean you want to get a drink and walk around the parks with it?

Yes, I want to get a drink like at one of their carts and walk around with it but not an alcoholic one. One is the Bebop Mickey (shirley temple) I was basically wondering, can I go into a resturant like the 50's primetime get a bebop then walk out the door and to the next show or whatever is next without spending an hour trying to get the drink.

OK, I am not 100% sure, but they do have the Mickey's Be-Bop drink at the 50's Prime Time cafe, and they do have a bar in front, and the drink does come in a souvenier cup, so to me, it seems like you can "take it with you" after ordering it at the bar. I guess it would depend on whether or not they allow "walking" drinks at Disney/MGM. Anyone know for sure?

We did this lat summer and plan to do it again next week. We got Dad's Electric Lemonades to go, from the Tune In Lounge. They just put them in plastic cups as seen below.
