They will be treated as two different ressies and you will have to pay a deposit on each at the time of booking and will have to purchase at least a one day MYW ticket for everyone in the room for each ressie. Also in the past the free dining pkgs required at least a three night stay, so if that's true again this year you would have to stay at least three nights at each resort in order to qualify for it. But yes it is possible, as long as you don't mind purchasing MYW tickets for everyone twice and paying two deposits when you book.
No you can not do a split stay on the same pkg. You would have to have 2 pkg. booked. You would have to buy the 1 day ticket twice. The tickets from your first resort, the tickets you would use for your stay would be good on your 2nd resort and you could hold the 1 day ticket for future use since they would never expire. You would have to look at it as an investment for future travel.
You would have to use all the dining credits for your first reservation by midnight on the day of check out from the first resort. The dining credits for your second reservation would only become available after check in to your second resort.
Remember that you're spending TIME to unpack and then pack and unpack again, and transport all and check in and out an din and ultimately out again, I am not a big fan of MOVING at all.
Good Luck!
