Hi, is it possible to do the Magic Kingdom in one day with a 3 year old if you do EMH in the morning? This would be at the end of January but on a Friday.

To do everything (at least everything a 3 year old can ride/see) is probably doable, but would be a pretty long day. Make sure he/she has the ability to take a nap or chill out for a bit. Could be sensory overload...in a good way. :D

probably easier with a boy than a girl. Not optimal, but of course it can be done. They only know most rides exist if you tell them.

To do everything a 3 year old can do not counting character meets....I say yes.

Is the 3 year old tall enough for any of the big rides? That may impact what you have time for in a single day.

My daughter was able to ride Space Mountain at 3 and insisted on riding it multiple times but also wanted to do all of the Fantasy Land attractions and pretty much everything else. That's when Park Hoppers and Multi Day tickets started to come in handy.

We did everything at Magic Kingdom with our 3- and 10-year old daughters when we went the week after Memorial Day this year. Even with a couple hours of rain.

We did skip the Peter Pan ride and Splash Mountain because of the obscene wait times. Our girls weren't super interested in doing them, and the 3 year old was too short for Splash Mountain anyway, so we didn't think the waits were worth it, and we're going back in December. We could have done Peter Pan if we wanted to wait in a 2-3 hour line, but I can't imagine why the Peter Pan ride is that popular. We are going back in December, so now we know to get a fast pass for that one.

I'd say no, running like a lunatic yes you could probably make the rides, maybe depending on the wait times, but character meets no way. And we did everything but splash mountain and peter pan is not everything quite frankly. Almost everyone loves splash, its probably my families favorite ride next to space mountain. Peter pan is not so much popular as it is a low capacity ride. I wouldn't necessarily waste a fast pass on it. You can either catch it at close when the wait should be 30 minutes or less or get it as a fourth fast pass. Rarer but it does happen often enough that its possible.

Yes, as another poster said, they can't know what they have missed if they have never had it. When my son was that little, he seriously just loved being at the place, riding rides just wasn't a priority for him (still aren't at 37). It would be impossible for anyone to do everything there is to do there in a day so I wouldn't sweat it and I wouldn't try to rush from ride to ride. Go enjoy your time.

You might not be able to do everything that a 3 year old can do in the park, but you can certainly make great memories in one day. Focus on the things you think they will like the most first and then primarily be sure to get tons of great pictures. You'll be surprised how much they can remember from a trip at that age with just a little reminder from a photo. If he/she really likes something and wants to do it again, do that! Don't stress over what you might miss.

I am not sure what you are asking.

1) Can I hit everything in MK in one day? Absolutely not, even with a party of adults!

2) Can we fill one day with things a 3 year old would enjoy and not have the child not feel like they were missing out? Absolutely! There is so much to do a MK. I am sure you can spend one day there, and your child wouldn't even know what (s)he was missing. One day is certainly better than no days!

You can plan a perfect one day touring plan. Will you see everything? Nope. Will you see a lot? Yes! Prioritize...

Like others have said, no way to do everything that the kid's tall enough to do but still can get a lot done. Try not to wait too long for anything, and FP all you can

I've seen enough kids that age having epic meltdowns in the park to say no. Focus on quality, not quantity and you and your kid will have a much better time.

Do you have adults that want to ride attractions that the 3 yr old won't want to ride? Child swap would give you some joys and also eat time. That said, once the kids got too old for character meets in their minds, we could do most of the park in a day. Can you being your own stroller?
