Can you do FW Cabins w/o a Car

Thinking about doing the cabins at FW for 3 nts after a 4 day Wonder cruise in Feb. We've been to the World enough that we don't feel the need to see everything. MK would be our biggest destination. We missed Soaring in May because of a malfunction so we want to do that. Other than that maybe a couple hours at MGM so DS5 can do Star Wars again. Can we do the cabins w/out a rental car?? Do we have to rent a golf cart (although that does sound fun)? Lastly, any suggestions on "loops" if we don't have a car?

The golf carts are fun-- but pricey. at close to $50 a day! All of the cabins are pretty inconvienent to the MK launch. And I would definately drive to any other resort (or schedule a minumum of 1hr 15 minutes to get there). We stayes at FW for a week. Loved having a kitchen and a little more room. Hated the total PITA of getting aound (with a car and a golf cart).

We parked our van the day we got there, and didn't use it until we left! We thought the buses were just fine. The front desk should be able to get you to your cabin, then all you need are the buses. We just would wait for the bus that went to the MK launch area. Then the boat to MK is pretty quick. Sometimes it stops at WL first.
We never used a golf cart, really was no reason to. Buses come very frequently.
I recommend asking for 2500 loop, near the bus stop (though we were several cabins back and still were near the bus stop.) This loop is right next to the pool/laundry. We loved it!

You can certainly do FW without a car, but it is MUCH more convenient with one. (BUT we always use a car a WDW) The golfcarts are fun for a day or 2.
