We have a digital camera and our little disk only holds 80 pics..... I KNOW we'll take more picture than that during our week and a half trip. Thing is, we don't want to spend another $30 on another disk.
Is there ANYWHERE where we can develope digital camera film on property??? DTD? parks? resorts? And, if so, how much is each print?
Thanks for any and all help!!!

yes, you can have your pictures tranferred from you memory stick/card from your camera to a cd, and then they can print them out for you.

you can do this at any camera center in the parks (where you go to pick up pictures that you have taken, ie in front of the castle, tree of life, etc)

i am not sure how much they charge for this though...

here is a link i found about it:

good luck!

That's great! My memory cards will hold about 300 but um, well last year I took um, oh 27 ROLLS of pics! That's when DH bought me a digital! :rotfl: Now I'm going to bring the laptop so I can download to that but I'm still worried that something might happen to them so a CD made there is a great back up! Thanks!!! :teeth:

This is in response to the increasing popularity of digital cameras. PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO THIS NEW SERVICE, FILM PROCESSING WILL NO LONGER BE AVAILABLE AT THE THEME PARKS OR AT THE WALT DISNEY WORLD RESORTS AS OF 1/3/05.
That was from the link that you gave me jenjen212.....? Hopefully it isn't right! I'm going to be snapping SO MANY pictures!!

I think that refers to physically processing 35mm film.

I think digital processing is still doable.

I would seriously think about buying another memory card for your camera. I think I read somewhere on these boards that the charge to put pictures on a CD at WDW is around $15. There are some great deals on cards around. I have even bought them off of Ebay. A few months ago a bought a brand new sealed 512 MB xd card for $50. That gives me over 200 pics at the highest resolution on my camera. You'd be much better with the extra card and waiting until your get home to print or burn your pics to CD.

Are you going to have a car? If so, I'd drive off property and have it done - for a lot less buck$$$

Just remember when having them put on CD's to be very careful getting that CD home. When you get home make another copy of the CD and store it in a different place. If the CD breaks or it can't be read you have lost all your images.

Cards are getting so cheap, and it's a good investment if you can swing it. It costs $12+ to do it in the parks and a couple of those and you've already paid for a new card that you can use forever.
