Can you confirm or deny this hotel info?

I'm researching hotels for some specifics and reading reviews on TripAdvisor. I searched here but didn't get the right results. I'm planning way in advance so I know things could change by the time of our trip, but I'd like to get some insight from you pros.

Two big wants in a hotel for me is a place to store luggage before check in as we'd like to arrive early in the day (we're flying, no rental car). Also really want (NEED) a good shower; strong water pressure and scalding hot water. For me the shower is what sets the tone for my day. Secondary to this is a quiet room so I'm trying to rule out anything that might be noisy and I'm worried the motel set up of some places might be too noisy.

In no particular order below are the hotels on my short list. I've included info I found on Trip Advisor. Can anyone confirm this info or provide any detail on recent stays?

Park Vue Inn
Reports are that they will no longer hold your luggage before check in and water pressure is poor.

Best Western Park Place Inn
Most recent report of being able to store luggage was from Mar 2020, anyone know how they do things now? Good reports on the shower.
It's hard to tell from the photos how this place is set up. Do all the rooms face either the pool or street?

Grand Legacy
Most recent report of storing luggage is from 2019, what’s the latest? There are lot of negative reviews from stays over the last month. Maybe it’s just due to COVID and reopening strains, but it turns me off. I see people on here rave about it, what’s the real scoop on this place?

Fairfield Inn Anaheim
Reports state you can store your luggage there but there are some mentions of it being a locker you have to pay for. ?? Reports on the shower are good.

Castle Inn & Suites
Looks like they do store luggage, but people are disappointed in the water pressure. One report mentioned all rooms face the parking lot and therefore it was really noisy.

Well I sincerely hope Park Vue in will hold luggage!! Before and after check in/out! We are flying in early and leaving late!!

Yeah, you might want to check. It was a recent review on Trip Advisor that mentioned they wouldn't do it for her.

Stayed at BWPPI last month (June 23rd). They stored my luggage for free at 7 a.m. before the 1 p.m. check in time. They also stored it for me when I checked out at 7:30 a.m., until I was ready for my Uber pickup at 5 p.m. Shower pressure was fine.

Desert Inn is not on your list, and they are frequently the cheapest. They have storage lockers that cost .50 or $1.00, I believe (quarters, which they'll change for you at the desk). The nice thing about that is you can access them yourself no matter how busy the front desk is. I have also heard of people who are not staying there using them (they're located halfway down the building, just past the pool room, in a room the size of a laundry room, just off the parking lot). However, the shower pressure is variable. It was fine in the larger rooms but in the rooms toward the back it was dismal. Of course, that was 2016; it might be better now.

For Harbor hotels, they are almost all just motels-- outside entrance. It can indeed get noisy. If you're far back on the property it's likelier to be quiet, and you can request top floor. The air conditioning sometimes helps, but I always advocate for bringing a white noise machine, or soft foam ear plugs. Since I got used to ear plugs, I find can sleep anywhere.

I believe many if not most hotels on Harbor will hold luggage for you. Also, many of those Harbor hotels are LONG- that is, the property is narrow and deep, and the rooms face toward the parking lot. Take a look at google maps to get a good idea.

Thanks for all the info! I'll check out the Desert Inn too. Somehow that did come up in my search.

Tropicana will also store luggage. I don’t remember much about the water pressure, but since we stay there often, I can’t imagine it being bad.

Fairfield Inn held our luggage on two different trips, so unless something has changed since then, I would bet they still do. Also, we had a "theme park view" room and it was on a higher floor towards the far end of the floor so was decently quiet (especially for an exterior corridor room). The cost to upgrade to that room was only like $20 a night, so totally worth it.

I haven't looked at them, I'll check them out too.

I figured Fairfield might, they are pretty good on customer service. I'll definitely keep that room type in mind.

I contacted Park Vue about this in May. They told me at the time that they will hold luggage if you arrive before check in. I didn't ask about after check out, though. They have great customer service when you email them to ask questions.

Just got back from a 6 night stay at Fairfield. I don’t know about holding luggage as we didn’t need that. Shower pressure was fantastic. And water was very hot and not even turned up all the way. We always travel with a sound machine (hush, rohm on Amazon) and we didn’t have any problems with noise. The front desk people and really all employees were so friendly and helpful. I would stay again in a heartbeat!

Thanks for the review!

We stay at the Fairfield inn and love it. Staying there again next week. Because I have a scooter we prefer the bottom floor because the elevators are small, but we love the hotel. Yes they hold luggage in a locked storeroom.

Park Vue will hold before and after. Also will hold groceries as well. Just finished stay there on Monday. Rooms have been updated and were clean. I thought the showers were good. We were in the back and very rarely heard any noise. The location can't be beat. It is now my go to place on my trips to DL.

Yep they stored our luggage no problem when we were there a few weeks ago. Before check in and after check out.

Grand Legacy and Desert Inn are not quiet. I don’t know about now but last time we stayed Grand Legacy had a blaring club that played loud music until late and then Desert Inn has trash trucks that start early and with the outside corridors, it is just very loud. Fairfield would be my choice if price was right with Tropicana and either of the Best Westerns vying for second

If it makes a difference for you with some of the people mentioning the Desert Inn, when we were looking my TA let us know that they failed their Disney Inspection and that is why they aren't listed as a Good Neighbor hotel anymore.

Haven’t stayed there since early 2020, but at that time the Park Vue would store luggage if you didn’t have a car. If you did, they asked that you leave your things in the car instead since they had limited storage space.

"Good Neighbor" is NOT based on an inspection, Disney or otherwise. It is just a financial agreement with Disney to sell tickets, reserve blocks of rooms for the packages.
