Can you check in if everyone is not there at the same time?

I'll be arriving three hours earlier than my cousin.

I would like to get the resort check in process done ahead of my cousin's arrival. Can I do this without my cousin being present?

Does this screw up anything with magical express or our luggage being delivered to our room if we don't do it at the same time?

As long as you are listed on the reservation you can check in.
