I am not really fond of french fries and when you order a burger at foodcourts most of the time the fries are included. Can I ask for something else and actually get it:D ?

at some counter-service restaraunts, they allow carrots to be substituted for fries.

What if ask for no fries. Will the price be the same or will they reduce the price a quarter or so? I hate fries, but I do like burgers.

You can get it without the side. I think they reduce it like $1.25, something like that. Almost anything on the counter service menus can be had A-La-Carte.

Oh...the carrots are the small packages of raw baby carrots. Some places used to give you grapes or a fruit cup.(Not sure if they still do)

I've been subbed an apple, carrots, orange....

Generally they have some sort of option for a "not fries" side. And you can order the burger without the fries and get a break.

I know at Pecos Bills and Cosmic Rays you can substitute the raw baby carrots for fries; we would often do one meal with fries and one with carrots. I think you can do this at Columbia Harbour house as well. And they do take off a dollar or so if you want no sides at all. I feel like I read somewhere on Deb's site that one counter service restaurant offers sliced apples...somewhere in Epcot maybe?

You can substitute or ask for no fries at all. The times I've done it they took off about $1.80. Really like the fries at WDW, but not with every sandwich I eat!
