Can you change discount less than 45 days out?

If you are less than 45 days from arrival have paid your trip in full with the Free DP discount code and a new code is available that would make it cheaper can you call and have them apply the new code instead of the Free DP one. If so do they refund you the money or do you get a Disney gift card with the saved amount? In this instance the package would be cheaper with the Poly at the room discount then the Free Dining saved them since it is just 2 adults. I think is what I am calculating. Thanks!!!

Yes, you can change discounts anytime, pending availability. However, if you are 44 days or less prior to arrival, you will be charged a $50 change fee since your package price would decrease. With that said, you should consider that when deciding whether or not the extra savings with the room discount over free dining is worth the change. Also, you would get credited the difference in whatever form of payment you used for the reservation.
