can you change a ressie?

I want to book this summer but we're not sure of the dates of a musical my son will be in, so should I book and then try to change if there is a conflict? Can you do this?

I think that I would make them and change them if need be. If you wait too long you might be out of luck on certain dates. I'm sure a number of dates are completely booked already.

Just be aware that if you must cancel less than 31 days before the ressie, the points go into a holding account.
